A restaurant situated in the Karasuma area of Japan's old capital, Kyoto.
"Kyoto Italian - Oshokuya Kappa."
The chef who runs our restaurant is from Japan and is a sommelier of vegetables, and so the Japanese-style Italian cuisine that we offer here features an overall sense of subtlety, including everything from the flavors to our food presentation. We use A4 grade Japanese wagyu beef sourced from our chef's hometown, and we utilize carefully picked ingredients, including fresh seafood delivered straight from the fishing harbor and organically grown low-pesticide vegetables. Come and enjoy our dinner courses that feature a wealth of our signature dishes for you to taste during your time sightseeing in Kyoto.
There are many different world-renowned wagyu beef varieties available in Japan, but our chef prefers to put the spotlight on "Kameoka-guy" brand wagyu beef, which is produced in Kameoka, Kyoto. The main course features chateaubriand, sirloin, and other cuts that use A4 grade meat with a nice balance of red meat and fat, all of which is grilled to perfection.
